Speech Manual Summaries

Last Revised: September 10, 2001

INTRODUCTION

A summary of all speech manuals published by Toastmasters International follows. For each manual, the name of each assignment, its objectives, and suggested time are reproduced verbatim.

Important Note: If you anticipate speaking in excess of nine minutes, you must make special prior arrangements with the vice president education.

WHO WILL BENEFIT AND HOW THE SUMMARIES ARE ORGANIZED

Members who cannot locate their personal copy of a manual or are exploring advanced manuals to determine which are best for them will benefit from the summaries. Toastmasters of the week will also benefit. Specifically, if a speaker gives the Toastmaster the name of his/her manual and assignment but fails to provide their objectives, the Toastmaster may find them here. To read the summary of a manual, click on its name below.
