Closing Thought

Last Revised: December 27, 2002

At least one day prior to the meeting, you select a brief inspirational, humorous, or upbeat quotation to conclude the meeting. You may select one which relates to the meeting theme or another theme. Typically, one or two sentences are best. Unless you memorize it, you will want to bring a copy to the meeting. You may find a quotation dictionary helpful.

Just before the meeting adjourns, when asked by the President, you present the quotation.
